We have over 140 volunteers, many who are blind or partially sighted, and they play a vital and much valued role. The time given up freely by our volunteers is what allows us to make a huge difference to people’s lives.
Quite simply, without volunteers, we can’t reach those most in need of help and reassurance, or provide the hope and independence that we seek to bring to people living with sight loss.
Volunteers help us run a wide range of important services, such as social activity clubs, home visits, and computer training.
If you’re thinking “I want to give my time”, thank you. As little as an hour each month can make all the difference to somebody.
If you think that you would like to help in some way, please take a look at our volunteering opportunities, or call us on 029 2039 8900. You can also call into our offices on Womanby Street or, if you don’t live in Cardiff, look at the nationwide Volunteering Opportunities Finder on the RNIB site.
