Ceri Dupree Costume Exhibition
Celebrating 40 years in showbusiness and supporting one of Wales’ oldest Charities, Wales’ top female impersonator and patron of Sight Life Ceri Dupree will be holding an exhibition of his amazing stage costumes in Cardiff this summer.
Ceri Dupree has been delighting audiences worldwide for almost 40 years. His unique talents have led him through musical theatre, pantomime, summer seasons, television and cabaret. There isn’t an audience (age or type!!!) that he hasn’t played to.
The exhibition will take place at Unit 20cw (opposite Hotter Shoe Shop) in the St David’s Shopping Centre Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm from 31 July to 25 August 2024.
On display will be some of the most fabulous costumes worn by Ceri over the last 40 years. This will include the Danny LaRue costume that recently featured in the BBC’s “Repair Shop”.
We are not charging an entry fee but we are suggesting a donation to Sight Life enabling us to outreach to the growing number of people with sight loss in South Wales.
You will also have the opportunity to have a free entry into ‘Guess the weight of the dress’ competition with a chance to win. First prize is £100 Amazon Vouchers kindly donated by Pisys.net and Second prize is 2 tickets to a show of your choice during September 2024 at New Theatre Cardiff kindly donated by New Theatre Cardiff.
