Sight Life’s Chain Reaction Challenge is a high‑energy, inclusive fundraising day bringing cyclists, fitness lovers, volunteers, and communities together to raise £2,500 for people living with sight loss.

What’s Happening on the Day?
– Main Cycling Challenge
A mixed team of 15–25 sighted and visually impaired cyclists will take on a 30‑mile route from Pedal Power (Cardiff) to Gatto Lounge (Pontypridd) and back — using both solo and tandem bikes to champion accessibility and teamwork, each with the goal of raising £100.
– Studio Tarw – “Go the Extra Mile for Sight Life”
All‑day fitness challenges in Cardiff’s Studio Tarw: spin‑bike distance challenges, personal‑best attempts, and chances to donate. Push yourself and support others at the same time!
– Community Cycling & Park Walks
Sight Life members and volunteer guides will cycle tandem bikes around Sophia Gardens and walk through parks in Pontypridd and Swansea to showcase our activities and raise awareness.
– Music & Atmosphere
The Plough Singers and Sight Life’s guitar group will launch the day at Pedal Power.
At Gatto Lounge, riders will be welcomed by the Caerphilly Ladies Choir.
– Raffle & On‑the‑Day Donations
Come along and see everyone, have some fun and support the event at both Pedal Power and Gatto Lounge. There will be lots going on as well as raffles and extra ways to get involved and show support.
