We are recruiting a Community Support Coordinator position to help deliver a wide range of services for blind and partially sighted people, primarily in Rhondda Cynon Taff and Merthyr Tydfil.
In this role you will work directly and through volunteers (on an individual and group basis) to support blind and partially sighted people maintain or improve their physical and emotional wellbeing and to enjoy independent and fulfilled lives.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate an understanding of the issues and difficulties experienced by people with disabilities.
An understanding of visual impairment and its impact upon those living with sight loss and the ability to communicate in Welsh is an advantage but not essential.
