Welsh Government want to know how well the implementation of the Social Services and Well-being (Wales) 14 Act is going. The Act is all about providing support to people who need it in ways that are person centred and helpful. One specific area of interest is co-production. This means people supported by services and the people in organisations that provide the support working together as equals in any of the following things:

  • Developing individual care and support or safeguarding plans
  • Designing and developing services
  • Participating in the running of services
  • Evaluating services
  • Developing policies and strategies

A small team of researchers would like to talk with people supported by services about their experiences of co-production. They would very much like to talk with you if you have experience of any of the above.

They are working with a range of different organisations to plan and run a series of two hour online Zoom meetings, each with a particular focus. The workshop with people who are blind or visually impaired will be run on 28th June: 14.00 – 16.00.
