A Charity Evening with Beverley Humphreys
A Night of Music, Memories and Welsh Magic
We’re delighted to invite you to a very special fundraising event this spring: An Evening with Beverley Humphreys, the celebrated Welsh soprano, broadcaster and community champion. Join us on Friday 20 March 2026 at the beautiful Cornerstone, Charles Street, Cardiff for an unforgettable night of song, storytelling, and warm Welsh spirit.
A Voice Wales Knows and Loves
Beverley Anne Humphreys, MBE, is a true Welsh cultural icon. Her remarkable career spans opera, concert performance, radio broadcasting, community work, and public service.
A familiar voice to many, Beverley presents music programmes on BBC Radio Wales and has hosted the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World competition for radio on several occasions.
Her achievements reach far beyond the stage.
- In 1992, she became the first singer to lead rugby crowds at the National Stadium in the Welsh national anthem.
- In 2010, she was appointed High Sheriff of Mid Glamorgan.
- And in 2022, she was awarded the MBE for services to Community Cohesion and Broadcasting, particularly recognising her compassionate work with refugees.
With a lifetime of memories and experiences, Beverley brings not just a performance — but a story.
