Entertainment featuring the quick‑witted comedian Bob Webb, a long‑time favourite on the after‑dinner circuit. Known for his relaxed, charismatic style and sharp original material, he’s guaranteed to bring plenty of laughs. Sight Life is delighted to welcome him for an evening of laughter.

But delivering this life‑changing support costs £1,600 every single day — and we simply couldn’t do it without the generosity of people like you.

The Reality of Sight Loss in Our Communities
Sight loss affects more people than many realise:
- One in five of us will experience some form of sight loss in our lifetime, with cases rising — a 30% increase is expected in South Wales by 2030.
- People living with sight loss are 2–3 times more likely to experience depression, and 43% report significant depressive symptoms.
- Adults with sight loss are five times more likely to report poor general health and almost twice as likely to be inactive, contributing to increased loneliness and isolation.
- The impact goes beyond individuals — in Cardiff alone, the annual cost of sight loss exceeds £126 million.
