Sight Life Taff Trail Fundraising Walk
Do you love walking, talking and taking in spectacular scenery? Do you want to help raise vital funds for people with sight loss? If so, then this sponsored walk is for you!
Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just out for a gentle stroll along part of the Taff Trail, why not join us for some fresh air and fun and also gain an insight into the world of sight loss by walking part of the way in a pair of simulation specs – glasses that simulate various eye conditions. Don’t worry, you’ll be safely guided every step of the way!
You can choose to walk the full walk from Sight Life to Hailey Park and back – approximately 8 miles or the shorter walk to Tesco, Western Avenue approximately 4 miles.
Why not sign up with work colleagues for a team building staff day, friends and family or go solo and meet new people.
As this is a sponsored event, we are asking all participants to create their own Just Giving page and raise a minimum of £60.00.
There is a £10.00 entry fee which covers cost of breakfast and afternoon buffet.
