I’m living with sight loss
Living with sight loss can be challenging, but Sight Life can help you to live your life the way you want. Sight Life is here to support local blind and partially sighted people to live active, fulfilling and social lives. We aim to help people to:
Maintain or improve their physical and emotional wellbeing by providing advice, support and signposting to help people exercise, eat healthily, manage medication, increase confidence and self-esteem, give them a sense of security and future, and reduce incidents of falls and accidents.
Enjoy independent and fulfilled lives by helping people living with sight loss to be part of a community, to take part in social and leisure activities, to leave the house more, to be able and willing to shop alone, to visit friends, to be digitally included, to have more income and be able to manage money, to volunteer or work, and to take part in lifelong learning.
We can provide a wide range of advice, signposting and services to people living in Cardiff, Neath, Port Talbot, Rhondda Cynon Taf and Swansea.
Here on our site, you’ll find information about who we are and what we do. You’ll also find information about the clubs and groups we run to support blind and partially sighted people to live rich, fulfilled lives. Take a look around the site. You will learn lots about us and you may find the answer to your questions. You might come up with some new ones! If you don’t find what you’re looking for or if you have more questions, give us a call or drop us an email, and we’ll do our best to help.
